**Te whiwhinga mahi | The Opportunity**
The National Public Health Service (NPHS) within Te Whatu Ora, work towards Pae Ora (healthy futures) for all by engaging with the wider determinants that impact people's health, focusing on oranga/wellbeing, prevention, and population-level intervention. We are connected across boundaries to deliver public health services that are nationally planned, regionally delivered and locally tailored.
We have a permanent, full-time opportunity available to join our National Quarantine Capability (NQC) team which sits in the National Public Health Service (NPHS). NQC is responsible for providing quarantine and isolation capability in Aotearoa in the event of future outbreaks, epidemics or pandemics. NQC is supported by several digital systems and the Data and Digital Product Manager will take responsibility for these systems, working collaboratively with Te Whatu Ora Data and Digital teams to maintain, evolve and drive value from these platforms over time.

- Your strong background as a leader in the data and digital space, a sound understanding of all relevant legislation, and ability to identify organisational risks will be key.
- You lead and bring people along with you and enjoy passing on your experience and mentoring your colleagues.
- You are driven and focused, with the ability to make decisions in a timely manner to advance the longer-term best interests of the people we care for.
- As well as being a clear communicator and motivated by completing tasks, you are comfortable making relevant key connections and partnerships.
- You enjoy working as part of a high performing team and have a continuous improvement focus.
**Ngā pūkenga me ngā wheako | Skills and experience**
- You will have expertise in the delivery of Data and Digital platforms within large organisations - establishing internal and external efficiencies across multiple stakeholder operating models.
- You have experience with Agile product delivery frameworks, product roadmaps, an appreciation of the technical landscape and the ability to support the shaping of solutions
- You can easily articulate progress in a language that is reflective of the wider audience
- You are comfortable maintaining, managing and continuously improving existing Data and Digital platforms
- You have experience with the budget planning process and have the ability to align strategic thought leadership with operational delivery
- You have experience in the New Zealand public health system
