**The opportunity - Te tūranga**

This role, reporting to the Head of Product, will be responsible for supporting the Chief Digital Officer and GM Strategy/Data/Transformation to lead development of both customer facing and internal data, AI and analytics products. This exciting role will allow you to show your data and product management skills to ensure we are driving the best possible value from our data for the business, our viewers and advertisers.

In this role your focus will be on:

- Data Product and Analytics Strategy - own the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for TVNZ's data products portfolioand work with Analytics to drive their strategy
- Drive delivery of the data roadmap in collaboration with Data Architects and Engineersto ensure the scalability, reliability, quality and security of our data platforms and products.
- Lead the prioritization of data initiatives across the organisation. Also creating and maintaining user stories, product backlog management and involved in sprint planning, reviews and retrospectives
- Evaluate and integrate emerging data and AI technologies to ensure TVNZ remains at the forefront of innovation in the industry
- Drive innovation in data visualization and analytics capabilities
- Ensure alignment between data products and business objectives
- Drive scalable integration of legacy and modern data platforms to support a unified and robust data ecosystem
- Drive the development and execution of AI-specific use cases tailored to business challenges
- Manage relationships with data technology partners and vendors
- Lead the roll out of data products to business
- Develop and optimize audience segmentation products
- Establish clear performance metrics and KPIs to measure the success and adoption of data and AI products across TVNZ
- Create and maintain user stories and acceptance criteria to capture work items for the data engineering and analytics teams

**What We're Looking For - Tā mātou e kimi nei**:
To be successful in this role, you will need the following

Experience & Knowledge
- 3+ years experience in product management/product, with a background in data and/or analytics
- Understanding of data architecture principles, data pipeline architecture, and data warehousing
- Experience working with data engineering teams
- Experience with audience measurement systemsand BI platforms
- Knowledge of data visualization principles and tools
- Experience with recommendation/personalisation systems
- Understanding of data privacy regulations
- Understanding of data governance frameworks
- Understanding of A/B testing and statistical analysis
- Familiarity with SQL and data querying
- Knowledge of relevant technologies and trends in the supplementary, analytics, and data space
