**Te whiwhinga mahi | The Opportunity**
The Associate Lead - Medical is an excellent opportunity for an experienced pharmacist to step into a leadership role within our Pharmacy Service. In this pivotal position, you will use your hospital experience and clinical pharmacy expertise to lead a dedicated team. You will help deliver high-quality pharmacy services across diverse medical wards to enhance patient care. This position is essential in driving excellence in pharmacy practice, supporting quality improvement initiatives, and mentoring the next generation of pharmacists. **Mōu | About you**
Skills and experience you’ll need to be considered for the role:
- Registration with the Pharmacy Council of New Zealand.
- A current annual practising certificate with the Pharmacy Council of New Zealand.
- At least 5-8 years of post-registration pharmacy experience, with at least 5 years in a hospital or clinical setting, or equivalent.
- Post-graduate qualification in clinical pharmacy.
- Current New Zealand driver’s license.
- Competency with te ao Māori, tikanga, and te reo Māori or a commitment to starting your journey and taking ownership of your learning and growth
