Ideally, you will appreciate working in a fast-paced team atmosphere, have prior supervisory experience, focuses on maintaining high standards within the hotel and enjoys leading a team.

**Job Description**:
You will assist our Mixologist and Bartenders greet each and every one of our guests, train and supervise our Bartenders, while making sure that all responsible alcohol serving protocols are followed at all times. You will also help ensure that service standards are met. In addition to fostering our enjoyable atmosphere, you will uphold standards by setting a good example and contributing in Te Arikinui Pullman Auckland Airport's overall success.
- Ensure that all responsible service of alcohol procedures are practiced at all times
- Maintains a high level of cleanliness and care of all equipment and materials; and ensure security of outlet
- Ensure consistency of both food and beverage service ensuring that it is performed in a friendly, courteous, efficient and professional manner
- Have an understanding of all licensing and operating legislation which affects the department including the Liquor Act
- Ensures that all opening and closing procedures are carried out to an acceptable standard and supervises outlet

**Qualifications**:
You will be:

- Cheerful, optimistic, self-assured, sociable, and able to establish a connection with each of our guests
- Daring and creative person who can precisely and stylishly prepare and serve a variety of inventive and traditional drinks
- Previously experienced working in Bars. Extensive understanding of wine, spirits, and cocktail mixology; a certification in mixology or a similar discipline would be advantageous
- Experienced working within a hotel environment, as well as experienced in supervising, training and motivating a team
- Well presented with an eye for detail and strong organizational skills
- Excellent time management and communication skills including rapport building between internal and external stakeholders
