We have an exciting new opportunity available to join our Albany based Support Centre as a **Scrum Master Practice Lead.**

As part of our Digital & Strategy team, you will be instrumental in strengthening our agile practices and delivery techniques. Your role will involve guiding, educating, and coaching team members at all levels, while also spearheading the implementation of the Scrum framework, crucial for our organisational success. You will also act as a scrum master for one or more teams, helping them deliver value to our customers and stakeholders in an iterative and collaborative way.

**Reporting to the SAP Applications & Delivery Manager, your key functions will include**:

- Define and implement best practices and standards for scrum and agile processes, tools, and metrics.
- Provide coaching, mentoring, and feedback to scrum masters and agile teams on scrum principles, values, and ceremonies.
- Conduct regular assessments and reviews of scrum teams and projects and identify areas for improvement and action plans.
- Supporting the Product Owner, particularly ensuring product backlog items are understood by the team.
- Driving the Scrum team and organisation on the use of Agile/Scrum practices and values.
- Continuously learning new tools and techniques to manage oneself and a team.

**To be successful in this role you will have**:

- 5 years’ experience as a Scrum Master or related role in an Agile environment.
- Excellent leadership and mentoring skills with a proven ability to increase teams' efficiency, effectiveness, and productivity.
- Deep understanding of Scrum theory, rules, and practices.
- Strong skills in facilitation, situational awareness, conflict resolution, continual improvement, empowerment, and increasing transparency.
- Proficient in using agile tools, such as Jira, Confluence, Trello, etc.
- Professional Scrum Master (PSM) or Certified Scrum Master (CSM) certification is preferred.
