Senior Test Engineers - do you have a passion for quality assurance, coaching, and emerging technologies?

Our client in the Waikato is an esteemed and progressive organisation that values your professional development and continuous improvement. To continue with their best practices across technology, they are looking for a Senior Test Engineer to join their team in this permanent role and provide mentorship and support to the Test Engineers.

As a Senior Test Engineer, you will initiate and drive test and automation framework setups from scratch as well as CI/CD tools. Your role will involve analysing the testing processes after PI and ensuring their process and delivery consistency. You will have proficiency in writing and running test codes in Java, JavaScript, C#, and in performing API testing with tools like Postman or ReadyAPI and be able to demonstrate skills in performance and security testing with tools such as JMeter, Blaze meter, Burp suite, and Zap. You will utilise test management tools such as Atlassian, Xray, Test Rail, or similar, as well as work with SQL and databases. Having a working knowledge of Agile/Scrum Methodology will be extremely beneficial.

A minimum of 5 years experience in quality assurance as well as 3+ years of experience in automation testing. Additionally, you should demonstrate strong leadership and communication skills, and be proficient in using various open-source tools and frameworks for automation testing.
