**Job Overview**:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Site Traffic Management Supervisor (STMS) or Traffic Management Operative - Practicing (TMO-P) to join our team in Henderson, New Zealand. The STMS will be responsible for ensuring safe and efficient traffic management at construction and maintenance sites. This role requires a strong understanding of traffic management regulations and a commitment to maintaining safety standards for both workers and the public.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Help develop and implement traffic management plans in compliance with NZ Transport Agency regulations.
- Supervise the installation and maintenance of traffic control devices and signage on site.
- Conduct site inspections to ensure adherence to traffic management standards and safety protocols.
- Coordinate with project managers, contractors, and local authorities to communicate traffic management needs and updates.
- Work alongside traffic management staff and subcontractors, ensuring all team members are aware of their roles and responsibilities.
- Monitor and respond to traffic flow and incidents, making real-time adjustments to traffic management plans as necessary.
- Maintain accurate records of traffic management activities, including incident reports and compliance documentation.
- Promote a culture of safety and compliance within the team and on site.

**Qualifications**:

- STMS certification as per New Zealand regulations.
- Proven experience in traffic management within construction or civil works environments.
- Strong knowledge of traffic management plans, safety regulations, and best practices.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and make quick decisions.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to various sites.

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
