**The Opportunity**

Based at our Wairakei Road Depot, we require an enthusiastic Hard Landscape Operator to join our Open Space Maintenance team as part of the Christchurch International Airport contract. This role provides high-quality, on-site maintenance of both the landside and airside grounds. The work our Airport Grounds team undertakes is pivotal to keeping the airport campus operational, compliant and safe for all users, so we require someone who has high attention to detail, is solutions focussed and who is efficient in their practice. This role consists of mostly hard landscape work and grounds maintenance. There will be a requirement for a period of night works as required, as well as occasional work outside of normal working hours.

**Skills & Experience**

We require the following skills and experience for this role:

- A high commitment to health and safety policies and procedures
- Minimum of 3 years working in a maintenance/hard landscaping environment
- Experience with light works and structures (preferred) including:

- Concrete placing
- Paving
- Asphalting
- Hard/soft landscaping
- Fencing
- Machinery operation (Digger operation preferred)
- Hold a full Class 1 & 2 Driver Licence (WTR are preferred)
