Come and work in a beautiful New Zealand beach location without the traffic hassles, where your commute to work is easy and stress free We at **New world Waihi **have an exciting opportunity for a passionate people, leader, and customer-driven **Duty Manager** **(Permanent Full time) **who will lead the staff to success by ensuring the shelves are full, the team is productive, and our customers are happy. **Days and Hours**: - This is a **permanent** **full-time** position working **Friday to Tuesday, 12:00pm to 9:00pm**. - ** Wednesday and Thursday day off.** **Great Wage Rate for the right person.** **Main duties will include**: - Managing the team to make sure stock is put out efficiently. - Identifying items requiring replenishment, replenishing shelves and displays. - Ensuring all departments are maintaining appropriate store displays standards. - Maintaining a safe working environment; our people are important - Team training and development. - Setting up merchandise displays and ensuring the store is tidy. - Delivering outstanding customer service and resolving customer issues. - Ensuring the safety of all customers and staff while on duty including security management. - Working closely with all departments throughout the store. - Responsible for closing the store (and learning opening if needed). - Supporting and assisting our Store Manager. **What we need from you**: - Ideally you will have previous grocery or retail supervisory experience. - Excellent communication skills. - A "walk the talk" leader. - A team player with high presentation standards. - A "can do" attitude. - You enjoy working in a fast-paced environment. **What's in it for you?** - Be part of a passionate, engaged, and friendly team.
