The Receptionist will be responsible for providing a professional and efficient first point of contact to OceanaGold for the public, other external parties and site visitors, while managing reception, and carrying out other support duties to the Waihi Operation. In conjunction with providing a variety of other duties in order to support the Waihi operation.

**Key Tasks and Responsibilities**
- Meet and greet all visitors in a professional and friendly manner and ensure front desk cover is in place during your working hours
- Manage the due diligence screening for potential suppliers, contracts and purchase orders for the Waihi site
- Process all invoices, raising purchase orders for goods & services, and receipt purchase orders as required
- Book travel (including accommodation, rental vehicles and shuttles) as required
- Work with Executive Assistant to manage Short-Term Accommodation properties.
- Manage the visitor management system (including issuing visitor and staff cards) ensuring all visitor’s sign in correctly
- Record and issue distribution of PPE gear to guests & visitors, and conduct a monthly stocktake
- Enter data received from all company vehicle pre-starts
- Monitor Road User Charges (RUC), ordering additional RUC as required
- Act as Chief Fire Warden for Moresby Ave, following OceanaGold Waihi emergency procedures
- Control and manage archive records
- Provide general administrative duties including (but not limited to) data entry assistance, answering phone and delivering messages, greeting visitors at the office door, photocopying etc
- Support the operation with planning and facilitating special functions, celebrations & site visits as required
- Cover Executive Assistant responsibilities during periods of absence

**Qualifications**:

- A relevant qualification(s) in business administration or similar would be an advantage although not essential.
- Full and current Drivers Licence, competent driving manual vehicles.
- 2-3 years’ experience in an office administration or reception role.
