We are currently seeking to employ **a Planner** to our**Planned Works**team based in **Wellington**. In this role, you will work planning a service with responsibility for the effective planning and execution of distribution and substation maintenance work.

- **Perform Defect Management from NCA revisions in SAP and export to Work Pack Manager.
- Assigning defects identified via the Distribution inbox to revisions in SAP.
- Compiling job packs for the work crews to meet all company, client and statutory requirements.
- Schedule resources to execute work.
- Monitoring work execution to ensure safety, quality and financial targets are achieved.
- Making recommendations for referral to asset replacement where appropriate.
- Ordering materials to ensure they are available to meet the work schedule.
- Collating quotes from suppliers and subcontractors as required.
- Updating Omexom and client databases as required.
- Invoicing and Quality Assurance of completed job packs according to Omexom and Client standards and time table.
- Conduct cost analysis on jobs on a monthly basis and report findings and recommendation to Maintenance Coordinator and take appropriate actions.
- Monitor Work in Progress and ensure perimeteral targets are achieved.
- Notifying landowners of relevant visits and works to be carried out.

**Qualifications and Skills**
- Trade Certificate or Administrator Certificate.
- Sound industry knowledge.
- Good computer skills.
- Works well in a team environment
- High level of problem-solving skills.
- JMS/MMS Database knowledge
- The ability to solve problems without impacting workflow.
- Experience in reading, understanding and reviewing network drawings
