HT TRUCK DRIVER NEEDED

**We are looking for**
- Must have clean truck class 4 license (full) or equivalent.
- You should have at least one year of relevant driving experience

**TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Ability to use handheld equipment for delivery purposes or willingness to learn to use one
- A positive working attitude and willingness to learn is crucial
- Need to be able to work unsupervised as well as work with a team.
- Being punctual is critical to keeping on track with the delivery schedule
- Must be Physically fit - Heavy lifting is involved.
- Loading and unloading the truck is involved.
- Delivery of dairy, baked and dry goods to customers in the Wellington-Otaki region. Training will be provided
- Willing to start work in the early morning hours or at odd hours of the night
- Must be able to or willing to work on Public Holidays
- You will also be required to provide cover work for staff that take leave including emergencies
- Must be able to travel to and from work on your own. e.g., 12am start
- Honesty, reliability, customer focus, and a can-do attitude is a must have.
- You will need to follow any rules set up around the depot and the operation. Especially around Health and Safety
- Be able to demonstarte good customer service
- Demonstrate good and safe driving skills and practices
- Be composed and able to work under pressure
- Be willing to undergo random drug and alcohol testing
- Ensure safety requirements are met when loading and unloading vehicles
- Make regular checks on vehicles prior to starting
- Verifying loading documents and checking condition of goods

**ROLE**

This is a fast paced environemnt hence this role would not be ideal for someone who cannot maintain a pace or be an active worker.

**MISCELLANEOUS**
- Depot is located in Seaview, Petone, Wellington. This is our base of operations
- Immediate start needed
- Training will be provided

Pay: $30/hr
