**This job is required to perform**:
Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
Consulting with customers to plan working area or covered space
Estimating required carpet quantities by measuring work areas
Preparing working surfaces by removing baseboard trims
Preparing underlay mat by measuring, cutting and fixing
Laying carpet, Linoleum and underlays over the working areas
Cutting shapes around fixtures and trimming edges
Fitting and securing carpet with edge trims
At least 2 years work experience in relevant industry OR
A qualification is required in level 4 or above
Able to work independently as well as a team
Ability to read plans and specifications
Working under pressure
Positive attitude and good work ethic
Be physically fit
