**About the role**:
Are you a Graphic illustrator and designer with a background in Mathematics? We are looking for contract designers to create beautiful, accurate and consistent graphics to demonstrate mathematical concepts to help intermediate and high-school students love Maths.

We are currently working on Mathematics lessons for Grades 6 to 10 in Ontario, Canada.

As a contract Graphic Designer you will respond to graphics requests to enhance our online lessons. For this project, there will be a focus on 2D and 3D Geometry as well as graphs and diagrams. We will provide a style guide, Illustrator templates and reusable assets. You will be creating graphics using Adobe Illustrator and the Desmos Graphing calculator and uploading them to the Education Perfect platform.

**Employment will be contract-based (20 hours a week for 7 weeks) and we are able to offer $35 an hour NZD.**

**What you will do**:

- Create a high volume of maths-specific images based on specific requests.
- Commit to a certain number of image assets produced each week.
- Work closely with the design team to ensure high quality and consistent output.
- Track your progress using Jira.
- Clearly communicate any barriers or blockers to reaching your targets.

**About You**:

- Experience creating mathematically accurate illustrations using Adobe Illustrator.
- Experience using a content management system to load, resize and display images.
- A good understanding of slide layouts and composition for image layouts.
- The ability to work quickly and accurately to respond to specific image requests.
- Track and manage your work using project management software (Jira).
- Highly adaptable and agile approach, with the ability to deliver quality results.
- Nice to have: working knowledge of Demos, understanding of WCAG accessibility standards for images
