**Job Description** The opportunity | Te Whiwhinga mahi**
Key Accountabilities:
- You will be the first point of contact for support, providing a first class administrative and operational service to researchers covering the planning, implementation and delivery of research projects.
- You will assist researchers with the preparation and submission of funding proposals, including collecting relevant information and approvals, budget development, and ensuring compliance with client/funder and UoA guidelines and protocols.
- You will also assist the researcher with the management of the project budget, including financial re-forecasting, tracking and reporting.
- You will be central to ensuring compliance with appropriate governance guidelines and policies.
- You will liaise with other service divisions across the University to facilitate outcomes related to the different aspects of the research life cycle

The salary range is $62,400 to $77,800/Band E and will be dependent on experience.
This is a **permanent**, full-time (37.5 hours per week) position.
**About the team | Mō tō mātou rōpū**
The Institute has around 250 members, of which approximately 105 are graduate students enrolled in Doctoral or Master's research. All our students are members of at least one multi-disciplinary research team, which often include valuable collaborations with domestic and international clinicians, medical professionals, computer scientists and bioengineers.
