**Pay Rate**: $30.00 - $32.00 per hour (based on experience)

At **Brumby's Bakery and Coffee**, we are dedicated to crafting premium-quality breads, pastries, and baked goods using traditional methods and the finest ingredients. We’re currently seeking for **Bakers** to join our talented team.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Bake a wide range of breads and pastries to a high standard
- Accurately follow recipes, measure ingredients, manage dough preparation and proofing
- Operating baking equipment such as ovens, mixers, proofers, dough sheeters, and slicers.
- Monitoring baking times and temparatures to ensure products are baked to perfection.
- Maintaining quality control by checking the texture, appearance, and taste of finished goods.
- Ensuring food safety and hygiene standards are followed in the preparation and storage of ingredients and finished products.
- Following daily production schedules to meet the demands of customers or business operations.
- Contribute to new product development and daily production planning
- 1-2 years of hands-on experience working in a bakery - this may include working as a baker, bakery assistant, doughmaker or similar role.
- A relevant qualification in bakery or cookery may substitute the work experience requirement
- Solid understanding of baking techniques and processes
- Ability to work flexible hours including early mornings and weekends
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail
- A team player with a passion for baking
