An extremely rare opportunity has come available for a Warehouse Manager to join our team and Storm HQ - Grey Lynn
**Warehouse manager responsibilities include**
- Timely and accurate stock receipt, control, and dispatch of goods to our 9 retail stores and online customers
- Enter purchase details (freight information, invoices, and pricing) into internal databases.
- Process and packaging of online orders
- Tracking shipments to ensure on time delivery and address any delays.
- Overseeing and executing regular inventory audits and maintaining reports
- Update computer systems with fresh information about available inventory to optimize business efficiency overall.
- Forecast supply and demand to prevent overstocking and running out-of-stock of in-house supplies ensuring our retail stores have everything they need.
- Active on-floor planning. management and storage of all products, keeping the DC in an organised manner.
- Proactively communicate across all facets of the business, answering the door and greeting all internal and external customers
- Continuously seeking new and innovative ways to improve and streamline Distribution activities.
- Ensuring that a safe working environment is promoted and always maintained.
- A highly motivated individual with the ability to work without direct supervision, and analyses and problem solve in a high-volume work environment.
- A minimum 2 years and proven work experience as a warehouse manager, inventory manager or similar role
- Positive and professional approach with the ability to to communicate clearly and concisely**, **varying communication style depending upon the audience.
- Willingness to assist and support others as required and get on with team members. Excellent time management, communication, and organization skills with a high level of attention to detail.
- Previous experience using Ontempo is an advantage but not required.
- Experience using scanners and other logistics technologies.
- Able to communicate at all levels including senior management.
- Commitment to customer care and service
- Familiar with OSH and safe work practices
