This 12-month fixed-term opportunity is a chance to lead the commercial management of one of New Zealand's largest outsourced contracts in asset management. As Contract Manager - Asset Management, you will ensure critical facilities operate smoothly across multiple sites, maintaining strong relationships with service providers while driving contract performance.

Balancing strategic oversight with hands-on execution, you will work closely with internal managers and stakeholders, responding to requests, implementing adjustments, and proactively resolving challenges across the organisation and with providers. You will provide a point of escalation and commercial expertise for the facilities team who manage day-to-day matters.

You are a pragmatic, relationship-driven professional with a strong technical background in contract management. Skilled in managing large-scale, high-value service agreements and confidently navigating complex contracts while developing collaborative partnerships.

To be successful in this role, you will:

- Have extensive experience in commercial and contract management, particularly in performance-based arrangements and assets and facilities management-related service agreements
- Excel at building relationships, ensuring seamless collaboration with stakeholders and service providers
- Lead and influence effectively, guiding teams and driving contract performance outcomes.
- Bring a strategic mindset, balancing technical requirements with practical, results-driven solutions
- Communicate with confidence, using negotiation and problem-solving skills to resolve challenges while maintaining strong partnerships
- Bring commercial expertise and influencing skills to support resolution of day-to-day issues and concerns raised by the facilities team
- Be willing to travel on occasion and undertake occasional short periods away from home should business need require.

**Utu a-tau | Salary**

The midpoint of the salary range is $147,765 and the full range (85%-120%) is $125,601 - $177,318. Appointment and remuneration will reflect skills and experience relevant to the role.
