**Job Description**:
AECOM’s Project & Construction Management (PCM) team is looking for an influential, collaborative, and vibrant Practice Leader to support the continued growth of our nationwide practice. This role presents a career-defining opportunity for a driven project management professional to play an instrumental part in delivering our PCM offering to clients across both the horizontal and vertical sectors.
This role will see you providing inspirational coaching and mentoring to a well-established, diverse team, building and strengthening our long-term client relationships and continuing to raise our profile and reputation within the sector, serving as an active and visible champion of the multi-disciplinary services we offer.
Ideally we're looking for someone to be based in Auckland, but Hamilton, Wellington and Christchurch will be considered.
**Qualifications**:
You will be an innovative and influential leader with a strong market presence and a passion for building business, client engagement, delivery excellence, and people leadership.
- 15 years demonstrated success in managing complex projects, meeting delivery requirements and leading project teams
- Demonstrated commercial acumen, and the ability to develop a strong client base
- Demonstrated leadership skills including technical leadership, human relations, team building, engagement, innovation and motivation skills
- Strong business development skills and demonstrated success building client relationships.
Using your strong client-focus and developed networks, you will grow and diversify the PCM business into new sectors including energy transition and water whilst continuing to deliver our core buildings and civils projects to a high standard, and lead our team to deliver timely, innovative, and high-quality project outputs. You will be a motivational leader, fostering the growth and development of the team, whilst focusing on technical excellence, management, and exceptional client service.
You will have a passion for our industry and a successful track record of building and maintaining client relationships. Your ability to coach and influence will see you succeed in this key director level position.
