We have an opportunity for a Registered Social Worker to join our team as an independent contractor. This is a great role for someone who is looking for flexible hours and interested in working across a variety of portfolios in the greater Wellington region.

You will be working autonomously and as part of a wider multidisciplinary team, within a best practice, person and family/whanau centred approach to assessment and rehabilitation.

As a community-based Social Worker, you will have a real passion and dedication to all aspects of service delivery and the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with your clients and their families. You will work with a wide range of people with illness, injury or disabilities, providing assessment and rehabilitation programmes within their home, work or community settings.

**What you will bring | Nga tohungatanga mo tenei turanga**

To be successful in this role, we are looking for the following requirements:

- NZ Registration as a Social Worker
- Association membership or equivalent
- Proven NZ post graduate experience of 2 years of more
- Experience in delivering community based interventions
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Experience in private practice and healthcare
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
- Understanding of and commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi
- Clean Full NZ Drivers Licence with access to a reliable vehicle
- Proficient computer and IT knowledge
