We have multiple vacancies for Senior Health Promotion Advisor role. We are looking for experienced, senior health promotion advisor who is committed to reducing health inequalities and improving outcomes for communities in Tamaki Makaurau / the Auckland region. This role works with the Community and Whānau Wellbeing management and clinical teams to support the leadership and delivery of the ARPHS health promotion and improvement programmes.

**In this role, you will**:

- Collaborate with Community and Whānau Wellbeing Manager and Team Leads for program planning, implementation, and evaluation oversight.
- Contribute to strategic planning for health determinants and healthy environments.
- Initial focus on combating the Auckland obesogenic environment.
- Foster coordinated stakeholder relationship management and raise ARPHS's profile in Auckland DHBs, NGOs, and social sector agencies.
- Assist the ARPHS Community and Whānau Wellbeing Team in leading public health initiatives related to priority determinants and environmental settings in Tamaki Makaurau/Auckland.

Nga Pūkenga Motuhake | Important Skills
- Technical proficiency in health promotion
- 3-5 years of experience in health promotion, community development, or a related field
- Holds a tertiary degree in public health, health promotion, social science, education, Māori studies, or a related discipline
- Proven leadership skills
- Experience in mentoring and coaching is a plus
