We’re the only emergency ambulance service for Greater Wellington and Wairarapa and proud of the place we hold in our communities, and the high-quality care that our people deliver every day. As well as providing emergency ambulance services, Wellington Free Ambulance also provides a Patient Transfer Service that transports patients to and from scheduled healthcare appointments, a Clinical Communications Centre answering 111 calls, and Event Medical support to a huge number of community, sporting and festival events. We also teach our communities lifesaving CPR skills through The Lloyd Morrison Foundation Heartbeat Programme.
Wellington Free Ambulance has been described as having a boutique feel due to the specific region we serve. Our region covers an area from Cook Strait in the south to just north of Waikanae around Peka Peka on the Kāpiti Coast. In the Wairarapa, our area goes as far north as Mt Bruce. **Description**:
About the role
We are seeking Casual Auditors to support the ongoing improvement of clinical care through the auditing of electronic patient report forms (ePRFs). This includes both routine reviews and focused audits in specific clinical areas as needed.
WFA is required to audit a proportion of frontline cases. As part of the Clinical Quality team, you’ll play a key role in monitoring and maintaining high standards of clinical practice.

Casual position - up to 5 hours per week
Flexible work arrangements - remote work available with occasional in-office meetings
**Skills and Experiences**:
To be successful, you will need
Minimum of 3 years' experience in the ambulance sector
Strong knowledge of clinical audit principles and reporting
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Bachelor of Health Science (Paramedicine)
Paramedic experience (does not need to be current)
**Desirable skills and experience**:
Experience in managing clinical performance
Previous involvement in clinical audit or research
Ability to provide constructive feedback to colleagues and junior staff
