**Tēnei tūranga - About the Role**:
We are seeking a Practice Lead to support the strategic direction and operations of the Operational Marketing and Content unit, which sits in the INZ Customer branch. The unit is responsible for delivering a wide range of marketing and content products that help customers to understand and use the immigration system.
By working across the unit, the branch, and the immigration system, the Practice Lead is responsible for leading quality standards and processes that enable efficient co-ordination and delivery of INZ communications. They will provide high quality specialist and technical advice that delivers a quality experience for our customers, and aligns to the immigration system’s strategic and operational objectives.
You will be a proactive and collaborative professional who is comfortable leading the development and execution of strategies and plans. You will have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and demonstrated experience of identifying, mitigating and managing risk.
Reporting to the National Manager Operational Marketing and Content, the key responsibilities of this role will include:
- Establishing delivery teams, facilitating scoping sessions, and monitoring delivery plans and any developing risks or issues, including alignment with best practice models and operational and strategic objectives.
- Supporting the development, production and/or publishing of marketing and content products, including providing operational advice and peer review.
- Manage and oversee the work of the Senior Advisor and Advisor, including production and delivery of activity, reporting based on evidence and leveraging analytics and relevant insights.
- Support the unit to develop processes and framework to gather insights from immigration system communication initiatives and ensuring customer insights are being used to inform customer communications approaches.

- Demonstrated experience in developing processes and frameworks to co-ordinate initiatives and to monitor and evaluate their effectiveness.
- Demonstrated experience in problem-solving and creating an environment focused on continuous improvement to enhance organisational performance.
- Demonstrated ability in determining requirements and directing an approach, including the development of processes and frameworks for delivery and to ensure quality and consistency.
- Ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to operate when there is ambiguity and to be agile and flexible in a demanding environment.
