We're seeking a motivated Community Partnerships Ranger based within the Council's Community Parks team to develop and enhance our parks and open spaces.
**About you**
You'll be a self-starter, focusing your efforts on engaging with community groups, volunteers and passionate individuals that are contributing to our community parks.
Proficient in report writing and public speaking, you can engage with small community groups and large corporate organisations and everyone in between.
A natural problem solver and a clear, effective communicator will allow you to set our stakeholders up to succeed.
**Requirements**:
- Tertiary qualification at Bachelor Degree level in one of the natural sciences and/or relevant experience.
- Experience working with community groups, not for profits and volunteers.
- Proven ability in building positive relationships and engagement.
- Full NZ Class 1 Drivers licence.

**Additional information**:
- _ Hours of work_- Permanent full time. Please note there is occasional weekend work to support Community events.
- _ Location - _This position is primarily based at Linwood, but working with communities all over Ōtautahi Christchurch.
