**Mō tēnei tūranga | About the Role**
This is a 6-month fixed term position which will deliver detailed data artefacts, data verification and validation for a Health Sector Project. We are seeking an experienced Senior Data Analyst who will be accountable for and expected to deliver the following by end of August 2025:
**Identify and Document Process Changes**:
Rigorously identify any changes to processes.
Document these changes thoroughly to ensure clarity and consistency.
**Develop Data Test Sets**:
Create comprehensive data test sets to validate data integrity and accuracy.
Ensure test sets cover various scenarios and edge cases.
**Develop Test Scenarios**:
Design and develop test scenarios to evaluate data processes and systems.
Ensure scenarios are robust and cover all potential data flows.
**Create Migration Test Plans**:
Develop detailed migration test plans for data migration.
Ensure plans include validation steps to confirm successful data transfer.
**Update Reports and Processes**:
Regularly update reports and processes to reflect required project changes.
Ensure updates are accurate and communicated to the relevant stakeholders.
**Identify New Reports/Processes**:
Identify the need for new reports or processes based on changes and new requirements.
Develop and implement these new reports/processes to improve data analysis and decision-making.
**Mā**** wai te mahi nei? | Who are we looking for?**
- At least 3+ years as a Senior Data Analyst.
- Proven experience in working on multiple data projects, including data validation and quality assurance.
- Experience in creating detailed data specifications.
- In-depth experience with creating business reports.
- Proficiency in creating data flow diagrams.
- Experienced in the following:
- SQL skills
- Advanced Excel
- A familiarity with Snowflake.
- Experience in documenting SQL queries and scripts used for data extraction and analysis.
- Excellent communication skills to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong analytical skills to interpret complex data sets and support decision-making.
- Ability to identify and resolve issues related to data and system interactions.
