**About the Role**

As a Strategy Manager, you'll lead the development, refinement, and execution of our overarching strategy. Your responsibilities will include:
Strategic Planning and Execution:

- Refining our strategic direction aligned with sustainability goals, market trends, and industry best practices.
- Translating high-level strategies into actionable plans, initiatives, and projects through cross-functional collaboration.

Market Analysis and Opportunity Identification:

- Conducting comprehensive market research to identify growth opportunities within the waste and recycling industry.
- Analysing data to provide insights for strategic priorities and resource allocation.

Business Development and Partnerships:

- Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities and strategic collaborations aligned with our mission.
- Leading negotiations and discussions to foster partnerships and drive business growth.

Performance Monitoring and KPIs:

- Establishing key performance indicators to track progress towards strategic objectives.
- Regularly analysing performance data for identifying trends and areas of improvement.

**About you**
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, environmental science, engineering, or related fields; master's degree preferred.
- Minimum 5 years' experience in strategic planning, business development, or related roles in waste management or environmental services.
- Proven success in developing and implementing strategic plans aligned with sustainability and financial goals.
- Strong analytical skills, a passion for sustainability, and familiarity with New Zealand's waste and recycling industry are advantageous.
