About the role | He Aha Te Tūranga
This is a 12 month fixed-term opportunity for someone who’s looking for a role where you can proactively build and enhance iwi relationships. Our Member Engagement team is committed to ensuring our iwi members can make the most of their nib health care. You will be supporting increased access and better experiences in health for iwi.
The key purpose of your role as Kaiārahi Health Navigator is to support iwi members covered under nib to better health through assistance with population health programmes, claims uptake and complex claim navigation.
About you | Ko Wai Koe- Exceptional stakeholder engagement and communication skills demonstrating empathy and understanding to build relationships of trust and confidence- Highly organised, capable of prioritising and managing workload autonomously- A methodical and careful approach to issues- Cultural competency to enable meaningful engagement with Māori groups, a deep understanding of tikanga and a good knowledge of Te Reo Māori- Display a positive attitude and is a positive agent for change- Work as part of a team and collaborate with co-workers- A sound level of computer skills, including Microsoft word, PowerPoint and Excel
