**About the Role**:
Spotless Services (NZ) Limited is respected as a leading provider of comprehensive facilities management and asset maintenance services.
We are seeking a Compliance Auditor (Building Maintenance - Residential) to join our team for auditing of multi trade residential building maintenance works, such as, carpentry, decorating, plumbing, drainage, electrical, gas, cleaning, and ground maintenance works.
This is a key role reporting to the Senior Quality & Assurance Manager and supports the delivery of building maintenance services to tenants living in the Kainga Ora properties through the implementation of the quality assurance and compliance framework.
Your responsibilities will include;
- Responsibility for monitoring of internal and external compliance with contractual, company and statutory requirements, and providing technical and quality related advice as required
- Ensuring company policies and procedures are implemented by the internal staff and the subcontractor base and will represent the Spotless Contract Team to resolve contractual issues that may occur from time to time with sub-contractors and Kainga Ora.
- Undertaking pre-work, in progress and post-work inspections for responsive and planned works to ensure works activity is compliant.
- Support improvement activity through identifying non-conformance and follow up completion of improvement activity.
- Contribute to regular reporting including trend analysis
**Skills and Experience**:
With such a challenging role, you will come to us with;
- Auditing qualifications or quality auditing experience in the Building Industry **.**:
- Formal qualifications in a related discipline (Building Trades background would be advantageous).
- Intermediate Excel level
- Analysis and problem-solving ability
- Proven ability to prepare reports and gather/maintain data.
- Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills along with attention to detail
- Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple activities simultaneously
- Ability to develop, build and maintain good working relationships with all stakeholders
