This position is suitable for a recently qualified joiner/cabinet maker or a 2nd to 3rd year apprentice

Skills required for this position
- Some experience in the assembly of joinery and the willingness to progress further
- Some experience in installing joinery and benchtops and/or the willingness to learn
- Some experience in the operation of machinery and CNC and/or the willingness to learn
- A high level of workmanship with good attention to detail
- Be physically fit as some heavy lifting is required
- The ability to communicate effectively with staff and clients and work well in a team environment
- Possess a good work ethic with the ability to work to deadlines
- Have excellent time keeping and the ability to be flexible
- Be capable of problem solving and able to work unsupervised
- Hold a current full New Zealand Drivers License for a manual vehicle (essential)

Tasks and responsibilities
- Assembly of joinery
- Assist with the delivery and installation of joinery and benchtops
- General workshop duties associated with joinery
- Pickup and delivery of materials
- Be motivated to continue to progress in the trade
