We are currently seeking reliable and full-time Cabinet Maker and Installer to join our team (at least 30 hours per week). In this role, you will be responsible for performing a wide range of related tasks, including:
l Read and interpret kitchen plans, blueprints, and design specifications to understand project requirements.

l Fabricate custom cabinets, shelves, and other woodworking components using various tools and techniques.

l Select and cut materials, such as wood, laminate, and hardware, to precise measurements and specifications.

l Assemble and finish cabinets with attention to detail, ensuring smooth surfaces, tight joints, and proper alignment.

l Install cabinets and fixtures in kitchens and other spaces according to layout plans and client preferences.

l Collaborate with designers, contractors, and other team members to coordinate project timelines and ensure accurate installations.

l Troubleshoot and resolve any issues or discrepancies during the manufacturing and installation process.

l Maintain a clean and organized workshop and job site, including proper storage and disposal of materials and waste.

**To be successful in this role, you should have**:
1. Minimum of four years of experience in cabinet making.

2. Experience with cabinet installation, including levelling, securing, and finishing details.

3. Must be available to work early mornings and weekends (based on work arrangement).

4. Physical stamina and the ability to lift, carry, and maneuver heavy materials and equipment.

5. Ability to follow safety procedures and guidelines

6. Pre-employed drug test and a Ministry of Justice check is required.
