**About the role**
As the problem solver, solution implementer, mentor, and team player in this role, you will play a vital role in ensuring customer satisfaction. You will be tasked with understanding both the business and technical requirements of the customer, and providing systems support, solution design and implementation, project oversight, and thought leadership. You will serve as the primary point of contact and take technical ownership for clients and their business needs. This position reports to the Practice Lead Service Operations and requires an average of 37.5 hours per week, usually during normal business hours (8:30 am to 5:00 pm). However, you may need to work outside of normal hours and/or be on call at times to meet customer needs.
**What youll do**
- Mentor and lead the technical team, providing support during major customer events and crises
- Ensure quality, customer satisfaction, and exceptional service through the implementation of best practices
- Provide technical design, development, and implementation of projects, serve as a trusted advisor for presales and thought leadership, and manage ongoing customer needs
- Handle day-to-day support and issue resolution, plan and execute projects, and oversee a portfolio of clients while ensuring IT security and infrastructure performance and availability
- Share your knowledge and expertise through training and documentation creation for the team and customer base.

**Job Requirements**
- 10+ years of experience in IT consulting or related field
- Extensive experience with Microsoft Windows Server 2008R2-2019+, including AD, ADFS, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, IIS, and RDS
- Experience with Hypervisors such as Hyper-V and VMware
- Experience with backup solutions such as Commvault and Veeam
- Experience with Citrix solutions such as XenApp and Netscaler
- Proficient in scripting languages such as PowerShell, Bash, Perl, and Python
- Experience with database administration
- Experience with server and storage infrastructure from HPE/DELL
- Experience with networking solutions from Fortinet, Palo Alto, HP/Aruba, and Cisco
- Experience with wireless solutions from Fortinet, Aerohive, HP/Aruba, Motorola, and Ubiquiti
- Experience with WAN/LAN/Wireless network design and implementation
- Familiarity with monitoring tools such as PRTG, CheckMK, Nagios, etc.
- Understanding of ITIL principles and best practices
- ITIL Certification (preferred)
- Microsoft Certification (preferred)
- Interpersonal skills
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
