Senior Adviser Te Ao Māori Lead growth of key relationships within the Māori economic ecosystem, across iwi, hapū, whānau and the business community. Te tūranga - The role We are looking for someone who comes from, understands and is passionate about Te Ao Māori, and will bring that lens to our mahi at Te Pūtea Matua. This role will see you leading policy development and implementation of initiatives to support our Te Ao Māori strategy, including our landmark project on Māori Access to Capital. You will also have the opportunity to input on some of our other strategic initiatives that will have bearing on the financial system. You'll be an ambassador for cultural and behavioural change across and outside of the Bank around our Te Ao Māori work, in a role that has influence and stakeholder management across Senior Leaders. Ō pūkenga - About you To be successful in this role you will bring:

- At least five years' experience in a senior or principal policy advisor role, or within a business enterprise role, preferably within financial services
- Strong understanding of tikanga Māori (and a good/strong grasp of Te Reo Māori highly sought)
- Ability to lead the development of policy options, analytical work, and drive our thinking with internal and external stakeholders.
- Flexibility and agility to work in a fast-paced and agile environment and prioritise competing demands
- Strong networks across tangata whenua, business, thought leaders and interest groups with a focus on the Māori economic ecosystem.
