Fonterra Oceania is our newly formed entity that merges the Fonterra Brands New Zealand (FBNZ) and Fonterra Australia operations, aimed at enhancing our competitive position in the trans-Tasman dairy market. The integration of Fonterra Brands New Zealand (FBNZ) and Fonterra Australia builds on similarities to outperform the competition, create scale and synergies, and will strengthen our competitive edge. This role will join a team that helps to build an even stronger trans-Tasman dairy business with reach across Oceania and beyond.We have three FBNZ operated sites in Takanini, Eltham and Palmerston North, and two central distribution centres in Auckland and Christchurch, with the largest chilled foods network across New Zealand. Our Takanini Site has three manufacturing plants - Beverages, Food and UHT, produces around 240,00 MT of product and has an annual Opex spend of approximately 100 Million.

We have an exciting opportunity for a hard-working individual to join our highly motivated team in this Storeperson role As a Storeperson in Takanini, you’ll be using modern technology to keep things running smoothly. Your positive attitude along with your excellent attention to detail will ensure our cool room stores stay well organised and the right products are correctly receipted in each day.

No matter what stock you’re managing you’ll use your strong reach truck and fork hoist skills as well as your solid knowledge of DC best practice to ensure the goods are received and stored correctly or moved on to the correct location. Your forward thinking and mature approach will benefit you here too, as you’ll need to adhere to our strict Health and Safety and Food Safety Quality standards, and monitor stock movements with accuracy.

Shift pattern: 3,2,2; with a rotating roster.
- Night Shift: Based on 12-hour shifts between 5.09PM to 5.15AM, three days on and two days off vice versa on alternating weeks._

**About you | Ko wai koe**

You’ll be reliable, committed and have a mature approach to succeed. As an engaged and proactive team player you’ll pick things up quickly and won’t be afraid to step up when things get busy. Solid fork hoist driving experience and a positive attitude towards Health and Safety are also crucial.

Other key skills and experience include natural team player with a strong work ethic and a can-do attitude Your experience within a warehouse or distribution centre environment will be an asset to the team, however, we are open to a variety of backgrounds.

Other things we are looking for:

- Confidence with computers and technology - RF picking, and using SAP
- A current fork hoist licence
- Proven experience in a warehouse/DC environment (food industry preferred)
- Computer literacy and the ability to pick up systems easily will be an advantage (SAP experience is desirable). Ability to work in a cold environments (Refrigeration)
