**The Opportunity - Te Kāinga Rua**

Reporting to the Senior Tax Manager, as Tax Manager - NZ you will be responsible for taxation aspects of the New Zealand Group including New Zealand led project operations within the Pacific (Branches and subsidiaries). In this role, you will provide trusted and high-quality tax services and advice.

You’ll have the opportunity to share your expertise while continually building on your own experience, including supporting a significant digital transformation project. This is an exciting time for the team and the business.

**About You - Te Rongoāto**

You’ll be experienced in New Zealand related tax; GST, FBT and income tax and have a good awareness of Transfer Pricing requirements..You thrive on the value you will contribute to our people, ensuring timelines are met and accuracy is assured. You will be curious and enthusiastic to proactively upskill, remaining current and sharing knowledge.

Key responsibilities:

- Tax Accounting: tax calculations including IAS-compliant financial statement disclosures (tax expense, payable and deferred tax) and preparation of tax expense reporting and forecasts.
- Tax Compliance: compliance returns and management of external tax advisors
- Tax Risk Management: reporting and assurance within the Beca Tax Governance Framework
- Tax Advisory: advice including taxation aspects of significant projects and transactions.
