**The opportunities**:
As we continue to grow we are looking for **Technicians** to join our Chemistry team based at our Lynfield Laboratory. These roles are full time permanent and fixed term (6 months)positions and are essential to the success of our laboratory. As Technician you will be responsible for carrying out assigned testing methods on routine samples and ensure our customer's products meet the highest standards of quality and safety. Your key duties will involve the following;
- Complete sample testing within the given turn-around-time (TAT)
- Strictly adhere to all laboratory and regulatory quality assurance procedures
- Ensure all relevant records are kept up to date at all times
- Maintain a clean and tidy work area
- Participate and contribute to working safely
- Be actively involved in all the day to day improvement activities

The available rosters on offer are:

- **Tuesday to Saturday** starting at 10.00am
- **Sunday to Thursday** starting at 10.00am
- **Monday to Friday** / starting at 8.00am
- **Sunday to Thursday** / starting at 8.00am

Full training is provided,with ongoing cross training between teams. This is a great opportunity to work amongst our Laboratory facility known for its innovative methodologies and delivery systems.
**About you**:
A BSc in Chemistry, Food Science or similar is preferred for this role, and would suit someone who:

- Has previous experience working in a commercial laboratory or in a fast-paced environment where priorities may change at a moment's notice
- Has a positive attitude with the ability to take direction and use initiative
- Has excellent written and verbal communication
- Is responsible for their own time management
- Works well under pressure, independently or in a team
- Can be flexible to work extra hours when required
