Your main responsibilities will include the following: - Providing guidance on and supporting the delivery of aquatics-based programmes - General lifeguarding duties to ensure customers are safe and looked after - Supporting the Team Leader with day-to-day operations at the Centre We are looking to fill a Permanent full-time position. As our centre opens 7 days a week, the ability to work early and late shifts, as well as weekends, is crucial in this role. Availability for extended hours during school holidays and summer is essential for success in this role. Shifts below: - Opening shifts Tuesday to Saturday (Tuesday - Thursday 5:00am to 13:30pm and Saturday 7:30am to 16:00pm. On certain days, the roster may be adjusted as needed. While customer support experience is beneficial for this role, it is not required. We welcome everyone who are eager to learn and contribute to our customer service team. Please note that you should be available for a 2-week training at West Wave. - September 22 - October 3, 2025 **He kōrero mōu: About you** You will have a passion for aquatics and a desire to share your knowledge and experience with both customers and colleagues to enhance water safety. As an excellent communicator, you will be dedicated to delivering outstanding aquatic programmes and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction. Joining an energetic and passionate team, you’ll be a keen team player with a flexible approach and be able to take the initiative to help drive a positive safety culture.
