We are looking for a knowledgeable quality manager responsible for ensuring food safety and quality of all finished products at our Timaru manufacturing site. As part of the plants leadership team, the role will be responsible for the day-to-day function and duties of both direct and indirect quality personnel across the Site. You will lead HACCP and promote quality and food safety culture, achievement and performance improvement throughout the Timaru site.

**About the role**
- Accountable for the Raw and Finished Potato Quality Laboratory functions and output.
- Ensure all Food Safety and Quality standards (both internal & external) across the site are maintained including but not limited to: GFSI, HACCP, MPI and KEFSQ
- Ensure all customer standards across the site are maintained
- Ensure Food Safety and Quality processes and systems are reviewed on an ongoing basis to determine where improvements can be made
- Identify any development training needs for Quality staff
- Communicate with key stakeholders on Food Safety and Quality performance
- Generate Quality and Food Safety reports on a needs basis

**About you**
- 5 years’ experience in Food Manufacturing Quality & Food Safety System management
- Experience in people supervision / management and people development
- Experience in Food Safety programmes including HACCP, GFSI and AIBI standards.
- Experience with customer standards including McDonalds, YUM/KFC, BK, Coles and Woolworths/Countdown
- Strong team ethic with ability to build collaborative relationships
- Self-motivated with ability to lead a team
