**About Us**
Vector Ongas is one of New Zealand’s largest gas retailers. We supply LPG gas cylinders safely and reliably to homes and businesses throughout New Zealand, with depots from Whangarei to Invercargill. In addition to bottled gas we also supply natural gas to the industrial and commercial market in the North Island.

**About the role**
We are looking for an energetic, motivated and reliable person to join the team at our Wiri Depot.

In this role you’ll be responsible for delivering LPG gas cylinders to homes and businesses all around the region.

You’ll be dealing with customers face-to-face, and at times might need to answer questions or offer them solutions. We’ll make sure you have all the training and support needed, so you are confident in giving accurate information.

As you’ll be handling dangerous goods, you need great attention to detail and a strong commitment to health and safety.

Other duties include:

- Completing vehicle safety checks
- Organising delivery runs
- Loading product onto the truck
- Delivering pre-filled LPG cylinders and taking away the empties

**About you**
You have a clean, full licence and are able to drive a manual transmission. You are keen and willing to upskill to secure a Class 2 licence (we'll provide assistance and training)
- Previous experience delivering goods
- Be physically fit, with the ability to lift heavy items when doing deliveries
- Dangerous Goods licence and LPG filling experience (or be willing to undergo training)
- Being flexible and adaptable with a strong focus on customer service
- Able to use handheld computer delivery equipment
- A proactive approach and responsibility towards Health and Safety.
- Satisfactorily pass background checks such as: Criminal & ACC history, medical and Drug & Alcohol screening.
- Be a team player with a can-do attitude and the flexibility to meet the demands of the operation
