**Job Description**:
Our Auckland based water infrastructure team is involved in delivering some of the most exciting, regional, national, and international transformational infrastructure projects across the Three Waters - potable, stormwater and wastewater.
The scope of technical work for this role has a focus on delivering Three Waters designs for council entities and large infrastructure projects, both nationally and internationally. It involves working with our modelling and major projects divisions on Water led projects, while also working alongside Aecom Transport and Buildings departments to deliver working solutions.
This is a unique opportunity to grow a professional portfolio of challenging water infrastructure projects for a range of public sector clients. You will be a part of our industry-leading water business and lead and contribute to the delivery of a wide range of sustainable and resilient projects that provide great outcomes for our clients, our local community and AECOM.
**About You**
- 10+ years of relevant experience
- High-level problem-solving skills and judgement capability
- High-level attention to detail and accuracy
- Demonstrated time management and organisational skills
- Strong team leader with excellent interpersonal skills, who can work with and support staff
- Demonstrated experience in undertaking and/or managing complex Three Waters design projects
- Experience in the design of pipelines, pumping station, reticulation systems, and ideally treatment plants
- Fundamental understanding of Hydraulic design
- Familiarity with Council and Water design guidelines
- Able to use all Microsoft Office packages and ideally work with 3D software or other software design packages
**Qualifications**:
- Bachelor degree in Engineering or equivalent
- Relevant post-graduate qualifications, preferably CPEngNZ.
