**Excellent permanent opportunity for an experienced coordinator or junior advisor to take the next step in their career. Unique construction project**

Working closely with the Project Team, Construction Manager and primary contractors Health and Safety Advisor, this role represents the client in a major redevelopment. You’ll assist in identifying areas of risk, such as asbestos, fumes or traffic management and put processes in place to mitigate these.

Ideally, you’ll have had exposure to safety in the construction environment and hold relevant qualifications, or you may be part way through your studies. A keen researcher, not afraid to ask questions; you’ll know where to go to find the answers to guide the team.

Experience with multiple PCBU’s and ISO45001 is an advantage, but you’ll be fully supported by the Health and Safety Manager to gain expertise in this area. Conducting audits and assessment, both onsite and remote, as well as participating in incident investigations as required, managing contractor pre-qual reviews and participating in Health and Safety and Wellbeing Committees round this out to a varied and interesting role in what is a truly unique environment.

Great communication skills are a must, along with self-motivation and confident knowledge of the HSWA and related regulations.

Please note that only NZ Citizens or those with the immediate right to work can be considered for this role. You must be able to travel and meet employment medical requirements.
