Salary Range: $104,056 - $138,741 (dependent on skills and experience)

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Business Manager to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the advancement of Māori aspirations and well-being.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Deputy Secretary Governance in managing the Office of the Deputy Secretary, including coordinating information and issues.
  • Develop and implement strategic plans, budgets, and financial management processes in collaboration with the strategy and finance teams.
  • Maintain accurate records and databases, and provide analytical reports as required.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including iwi, hapū, and whānau Māori.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in governance or business management, preferably in a Māori organization.
  • Proven expertise in developing and implementing strategic plans, budgets, and financial management processes.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed recommendations.
  • A deep understanding of Māori culture and language, with the ability to communicate effectively in both English and te reo Māori.
  • A commitment to delivering high-quality results in a fast-paced environment.
