Job Summary:

The Manager of Managed Care Contracting will play a critical role in shaping our organization's strategy and achieving our goals. This individual will be responsible for developing and implementing contracts with various payers, ensuring seamless operations and maximum value for our organization.

The successful candidate will possess exceptional negotiation skills, a keen understanding of healthcare regulations, and the ability to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Craft, evaluate, negotiate, and execute contracts with various payers.
  • Maintain relationships with external stakeholders and serve as the primary point of contact for contract-related matters.
  • Assist the Director of Managed Care in system design, integrating activities, communicating results of payor negotiations/issues, and maintaining effective relationships with operating entities and physicians.

Requirements:

  • Four to seven years' experience in responsible positions in healthcare or health plan environment, with financial and managed care contracting experience.
  • A strong ability to organize and prioritize activities while ensuring attention to details.
  • Epic certification may be required.
  • Graduation from an accredited college or university with a degree in Business, Finance, Management, or Healthcare is required.
  • A master's degree in business administration or healthcare administration is preferred.
