About Us

At Mcg Talent, we are committed to excellence in government communications. We are seeking an experienced Government Communications Director to lead our team in this critical role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and Implement Communication Strategies: Design and implement a comprehensive communications strategy that aligns with the goals of the governmental department or agency.
  • Build Relationships with Media Representatives: Build and maintain relationships with media representatives. Handle press releases, respond to media inquiries, organize press briefings, and other related events.
  • Crisis Communications Planning: Develop and implement strategies for managing communication during crises, ensuring accurate and timely information dissemination.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, or a related field.
  • Master's degree or relevant postgraduate qualification preferred.
  • Extensive experience in a senior communications role, preferably within a governmental or public sector context.
