We are seeking a highly skilled Board Certified Veterinary Surgeon to join our team at North Shore Animal League America. As a Senior Veterinary Surgeon, you will play a critical role in providing advanced surgical care to our feline and canine patients.

About the Position

This is a senior position primarily focused on the surgical needs of the feline population in our new feline rescue and adoption facility, as well as advanced canine surgeries in our state-of-the-art medical center.

The ideal candidate will have a primary interest in a balance of soft-tissue and orthopedic surgery and be board certified with a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited university. They will also possess excellent communication skills, work effectively in a team environment, and demonstrate a passion for providing compassionate care to homeless rescued animals.

Our facility features dedicated examination rooms, medical treatment wards, and a feline surgical suite, offering a variety of challenging cases that will keep your skills sharp.
