The Role
We are seeking a highly organised and motivated Petroleum Tank Refurbishment Specialist to assist in the delivery of refurbishment projects on petroleum tanks, hydro penstocks, and bridges in New Zealand. This role reports to the Area Manager Central North Island and will work closely with operational employees and engineering teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Achieving commercial project deliverables on time and within budget.
- Relationship Management and Programming.
- Cost tracking and forecasting.
- Project Administration and ensuring full compliance with HSEQ requirements.
Requirements
Applicants must currently be eligible to work in NZ. A bachelor's degree or equivalent vocational experience in civil, mechanical or similar engineering is required. 5 years of project experience for a contractor or work within a similar industry is also necessary. A full unrestricted New Zealand driver's license and cost estimating experience in the maintenance or construction sectors are preferred. Excellent literacy and numeracy skills are required. Experience in the maintenance and construction of steel structures and industrial coatings (NACE qualification) is highly desirable.
