About the Job

We are seeking an Electronic Product Development Engineer to join our Hardware Solutions Team at Trimble Inc. in Christchurch, New Zealand.

As an Electronic Product Development Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing electronic products that meet our customers' needs. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to define product requirements, develop engineering specifications, and ensure timely delivery of quality electronic component designs.

Your primary focus will be on schematic and board layout design, as well as supporting prototype build and test for devices incorporating technologies such as GNSS receivers, IMUs, Bluetooth, WLAN, and other radio technologies.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical engineering, excellent problem-solving skills, and experience with eCAD systems such as Cadence OrCAD and Allegro.

You will also have the opportunity to contribute to the development of schedules, implement best practices for detailed electrical design, and oversee the work of partner organizations to ensure timely delivery of quality electronic component designs.
