Job Description:

We are seeking experienced Compliance Test Engineers to join our team. As a key member of our testing group, you will be responsible for ensuring that our products meet relevant national and international standards.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Perform compliance testing using detailed knowledge of standards and industry best practices in our ISO 17025 accredited lab
  • Interface with Nationally Recognized Testing Labs (NRTLs) to coordinate regulatory testing
  • Gain regulatory agency approvals for products by demonstrating product compliance with standards
  • Lead the effort to gain and maintain self-certification status
  • Contribute to the team effort by accomplishing related results as needed

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering, Computer Science or other relevant education and experience
  • Good knowledge of Electronics and Electrical Engineering principles
  • Between 2 - 10 years recent experience in compliance/homologation, Product design/development or testing of complex electronics products
  • Having experience with photovoltaic systems, energy storage devices or power electronics is an advantage
  • Working knowledge of relevant standards: AS/NZS 4777 series, EN 50549-1, IEC 61000 series, IEC/UL 62368, UL standards, and other relevant standards
  • Working knowledge of National and International regulations and the ability to work with Local Authorities Having Jurisdiction (LAHJ) or regulatory bodies is a plus
