We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Mental Health Professional to join our multidisciplinary team in Southland, New Zealand. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and experienced adult psychiatrist to contribute to the delivery of high-quality mental health services in a supportive and collaborative environment.

About the Role

As a Senior Mental Health Professional, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive mental health assessments, developing and implementing treatment plans, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.

The ideal candidate will have experience working with adult patients with mental illness in an inpatient unit and/or community setting. You will be a motivated team player who delivers high-quality care to patients and their family/whānau. A commitment to clinical and professional development is essential, as well as current registration with the Medical Council of New Zealand.

This role offers a competitive salary of $150,000 - $200,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus non-clinical administration time, teaching and learning opportunities, career progression support, and a friendly and professional working environment.
