**Job Description**

NZ Playcentre Federation is seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Children's Activity Coordinator to join our team at Milson Playcentre. As a key member of our community, you will work closely with our members and tamariki to design and deliver engaging activities that promote learning and development.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of child-led play and positive guidance principles. You will be a skilled communicator and leader who can inspire and motivate others to achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement activity plans that cater to diverse needs and abilities
  • Facilitate learning experiences that promote social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development
  • Maintain a safe and healthy environment that promotes physical and emotional well-being
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues and whanau to build strong relationships and a sense of community

**Requirements**

To be successful in this role, you will need to hold a minimum of a Level 4 qualification in Early Childhood Education or higher. A current First Aid Certificate is also essential. Desirable skills and experience include knowledge of ECE regulations, ability to use technology, and passion for empowering and engaging with all whanau.
