About the Job

We are seeking a highly skilled and caring individual to join our team as a Healthcare Support Professional. This role involves working closely with a Registered Nurse to provide exceptional care to our residents.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for undertaking personal cares, responding quickly to resident requests, and maintaining and updating resident healthcare records. They will also assist with handover of residents at shift changes and contribute to a supportive team environment.

Skills and Experience:

  • New Zealand Certificate in Health and Wellbeing Level 3 (or equivalent) and 3 years of relevant experience; OR New Zealand Certificate in Health and Wellbeing Level 4 (or equivalent).
  • Dementia and hospital-level care experience required.
  • Flexibility to work on a rostered shift basis.
  • People skills with empathy for the elderly and their families.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
